Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 7 years of experience in RF, microwave, or antenna design
- Proficient in electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, CST, ADS, or equivalent)
- Practical experience with RF laboratory instruments (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.)
- Familiarity with antenna architectures including phased arrays, patch antennas, horn antennas, or broadband solutions
- Comprehensive understanding of defense-related communication systems and RF chain design
- U.S. citizenship (required for defense program eligibility)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of sophisticated RF, microwave, and antenna systems for defense applications
- Conduct modeling, simulation, and analysis using software tools such as HFSS, CST, ADS, or similar
- Formulate test plans and execute RF measurements, antenna characterization, and system validation
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure product robustness
- Assist in prototype development, root cause analysis, and ongoing design enhancements
- Generate documentation including specifications, test reports, and engineering assessments
- Mentor and assist junior engineers; contribute to the planning of the technical roadmap
