Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering is preferred, although relevant experience is also considered
- Excellent communication abilities for efficient collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
- Capacity to analyze, develop, and enhance quality processes to align with customer needs and corporate goals
- Proficiency in reviewing and assessing processes to pinpoint issues, suggest alternatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis and FMEA techniques
- Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, including auditing, process mapping, and supplier oversight
- Competence in navigating and utilizing business computer systems, including ERP platforms
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the sites ISO 9001 Quality Management System along with associated certifications
- Execute scheduled compliance and surveillance audits, providing clear suggestions for process enhancements
- Examine process non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to promote continuous improvement
- Manage non-conforming materials from suppliers, making disposition decisions, and collaborating with receiving and in-process inspection teams
- Establish and document acceptance criteria and process controls for manufacturing operations, using data such as First Pass Yield to inform improvements
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to support and propose engineering changes when necessary
- Engage in new process implementations, including validation activities to ensure quality and compliance
- Offer technical quality advice across various teams, including engineering, design, technicians, and inspectors
