Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET accredited program.
- Strong comprehension of circuit design, analysis, and common electronic circuits (such as amplifiers, switches, filters, rectifiers, digital/analog I/O, current sources, and power regulation circuits).
- Practical experience with standard electronic tools and test instrumentation (including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators).
- Familiarity with schematic capture software, integrated development environments (IDEs), and CAD tools.
- Proficient in embedded firmware development (C/C++) and hardware integration.
- Solid grounding in AC/DC electrical theory and component-level behavior.
- Experience in electronic component selection and evaluation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to PCB assembly, electronic subassemblies, and electromechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with vendors, manufacturers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and automate test cases to validate hardware and firmware functionality.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks and supporting scripts for testing.
- Diagnose firmware issues and analyze system problems using electronic test equipment.
- Test and integrate hardware components with embedded firmware.
- Identify and document defects, offering clear feedback to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate efficient test execution.
- Prepare concise test reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Suggest enhancements to processes and stay updated with modern testing tools and methodologies.
