Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is preferred (relevant experience may replace educational requirements)
- DoD 8140 certification aligned with the 441 Network Operations Specialist role (e.g., Network+, Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, CISSP, or CCNP Security)
- Over 10 years of experience in network engineering, focusing primarily on enterprise wireless networking
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex WiFi environments
- Practical experience in conducting predictive and physical site surveys, including RF analysis and performance validation
- Strong ability to identify and resolve RF interference, coverage, and capacity challenges in operational environments
- Experience managing wireless LAN controllers and enterprise access points
- Comprehensive understanding of RF propagation and interference mitigation
- Familiarity with HPE Aruba controllers and access points meeting 802.11ax and 802.11be standards
- Experience with Cisco wireless, Ubiquity, and Ericsson edge solutions
- Background in integrating wireless solutions with security systems and supporting endpoint connectivity
- Ability to deliver immediate contributions with little ramp-up in a mission-critical environment
- Required certifications include CWSP or equivalent vendor wireless professional certification and Security+
Responsibilities
- Perform predictive and physical RF site surveys
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise wireless networks
- Troubleshoot RF interference and various wireless performance issues
- Provide support and maintenance for wireless controllers and access points
- Actively engage in Agile execution and technical discussions
- Clearly communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Quickly contribute in a mission-critical environment with minimal ramp-up
- Build and sustain strong customer trust through technical proficiency, promptness, and dependability
