Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrated experience in Agile Program Management, including facilitation of Agile ceremonies and Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for tracking operational tempo, tasks, product roadmaps, and performance metrics.
- Strong capability to develop executive-level briefings and manage recurring administrative tasks.
- Experience in leading technical requirement consolidation and conducting market research for contract development.
- In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps pipelines, and AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with DoD Directive 5000.01 Acquisition regulations and government IT project processes.
- Ability to convert complex technical concepts into understandable insights for technical teams and government stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with agile project management tools like Jira and Confluence. Understanding of AWS is advantageous.
- Proven proactive leadership with the ability to independently address project blockers and emerging priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in drafting technical documentation and mission-critical briefings.
- Over 8 years of experience in DoD software management as a contractor or government employee.
- Bachelors degree is mandatory.
- Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Level Clearance (or higher) is required.
Responsibilities
- Support a major U.S. Army command by providing program, operational, and software acquisition assistance.
- Enable the delivery of comprehensive IT services and products ensuring effective information access for Soldiers and Commanders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage the lifecycle of software products.
- Ensure timely award of contracts, adhering to budget constraints, to safeguard essential cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Assist the Assistant Product Manager (APM) with project management, daily operations, and key initiatives.
- Facilitate Agile processes and mentor the team on Agile principles and best practices.
- Conduct market research and technical requirement consolidation for contract preparation.
- Create executive-level briefings and documents detailing mission impacts for senior leadership.
- Streamline organizational processes, including vendor onboarding and documentation submission for security artifacts.
- Report on team performance metrics and operational efficiency to leadership.
