Requirements

Must:
- 0-3 years of experience in IT help desk, customer service, or computer user support - Basic understanding of enterprise software environments and proficiency with standard IT ticketing systems - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service when engaging with end-users - Ability to pass stringent IRS background checks and adhere to a strict 5-calendar-day SLA for fingerprinting and eAPP (SF-85/85P) form submission upon acceptance of offer

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary support contact for all end-user inquiries regarding system access, navigation challenges, error notifications, and basic application questions (e.g., workstation self-certification, reservations) - Record all incoming issues in the designated tracking system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, TRIRIGA) and ensure all pertinent information is captured during the first interaction - Monitor incoming inquiries to ensure compliance with response times, including documenting and responding to Critical tickets within 15 minutes, High within 30 minutes, and Medium/Low within 1 hour - Aid users with basic access issues and collaborate with administrators for Business Entitlement Access Request System (BEARS) approvals - Strive for immediate resolution through functional troubleshooting; if advanced technical support is required, appropriately escalate and route the ticket to Tier 2 or Tier 3 developers - Provide active live support during core operational hours of the Help Desk, Monday through Friday
