Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks (e.g., FEAF, TOGAF, Zachman)
- Demonstrated ability to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for Relational Database Management Systems
- Proficient in administering data modeling tools, including setting up, updating, and managing multi-user modeling tools in the cloud (such as Idera, ER/Studio Team Server)
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data infrastructure
- Expertise in design and implementation techniques for integrating and analyzing both structured and unstructured data to establish data standards
- Ability to assess data sensitivity and apply necessary security protocols
- Familiarity with native database languages like SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, as well as modern database technologies such as NoSQL
- Understanding of standard data warehouse and data lake architectures
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Industry certifications such as CDMP, DCAM, TOGAF, or Zachman are desirable
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Responsibilities
- Establish and uphold enterprise data standards throughout the data management lifecycle
- Offer strategic guidance on plans to transition from the current to the target data architecture
- Manage data modeling tools, including installation, upkeep, and configuration of cloud-based applications
- Assess data sensitivity and collaborate with the data security team to create user access policies
- Engage with the client and internal IT and data security teams to discuss data strategies and infrastructure needs
- Determine the advancements required for data architecture to facilitate the integration of AI and ML into prevailing processes
- Propose best practice policies regarding data loading and extraction into and from storage solutions
- Keep thorough documentation of data repositories and any generated materials, including playbooks
