Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (MBA is a plus)
- Over 5 years of experience in product management, application engineering, or business development in motion control, automation, or electro-mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of servo drives, motors, controllers, and automation platforms
- Experience in defining customer requirements and delivering ready-for-market solutions
- Proven track record in product launches and lifecycle management
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Analytical mindset with a knack for balancing technical and business priorities
- Experience with Python is a plus (for automation, testing, or integration)
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer interactions and collaboration with internal teams
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle for motion and automation systems, from initial concept to commercialization
- Lead the development of product roadmaps and specifications for servo drives, control systems, and software platforms
- Initiate new product initiatives for integrated mechatronic subsystems
- Work closely with engineering teams to convert customer needs into technical solutions
- Collaborate with sales and marketing on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
- Assist business development and application engineering teams with product tools, training, and marketing materials
- Identify key customers, early adopters, and application opportunities for product launches
- Monitor product performance, adoption rates, and profitability to drive continuous improvement
- Provide technical leadership in servo sizing, motion architectures, and IEC 61131 programming
