Deputy Chief Information Security Officer

- Collaborate with security leadership in managing security operations, incident response, application security, and infrastructure - Stay actively informed and engaged in daily security operations - Promote a robust security culture across leadership, business units, and Associates - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance security networks - Manage the security budget in conjunction with the VP/CISO, along with fiduciary responsibilities - Provide enterprise-wide advice on security people, processes, and technology - Keep current on security threats and vulnerabilities to mitigate corporate risks - Oversee the timely and budget-compliant delivery of security projects - Implement continuous vulnerability assessments and synchronize technical teams for remediation - Sponsor vendor selections and third-party consulting engagements - Facilitate independent verification and validation of network and data protection - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with security leadership for alignment with business goals - Inspire security teams to maximize system security controls - Remove barriers to ensure efficient enterprise-wide security controls - Collaborate with technical and compliance teams to integrate security-by-design - Engage with operational risk, compliance, legal, and audit teams - Monitor new laws and regulations, assessing their business impacts - Verify regular security training and communication for both internal and external stakeholders - Oversee security controls testing and validation across projects - Actively support the VP/CISO and executive leadership during challenging times
