Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems or a related field is preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience in healthcare IT is required.
- Epic certification with at least one year of experience working with Ambulatory is highly preferred.
- Functional knowledge of EHR software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent customer service skills demonstrated.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical coding and terminology is advantageous.
- Capability to collaborate effectively across various application teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience as an Epic analyst is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the best patient care.
- Support the functionality of Cadence modules for outpatient community offices.
- Maintain knowledge of Epic Cadence and Hello World application build and system maintenance.
- Plan, design, implement, and support Cadence and Referrals applications.
- Communicate effectively with project leaders, analysts, and clinical staff to gather system requirements.
- Develop design specifications and implement new software functionalities.
- Mentor team members and inform leadership of operational events.
- Keep detailed documentation of assigned applications up to date.
- Test new software releases and ensure smooth version upgrades.
- Manage help desk inquiries and serve as a point of contact for user support.
- Actively participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
