Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience in healthcare IT is necessary.
- Epic certification and at least one year working with Ambulatory preferred.
- Functional understanding of EHR software.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical coding and terminology is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.
- Plan, design, test, implement, support, and ensure functionality related to 3M Solventum and Epic Hospital Coding.
- Manage monthly updates for 3M and coordinate downtimes with leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between the IS Department and clinical staff to facilitate education and training.
- Act as the IS project lead for new implementations and updates.
- Support clinical staff in troubleshooting computer issues while providing cross-training for IS personnel.
- Maintain detailed system documentation and functionality specifications.
- Communicate effectively with users to gather system requirements and articulate their needs.
