Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Over 10 years of experience in software development, particularly in architectural or leadership roles
- Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js, React, or Angular
- Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems
- Familiar with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; AWS or GCP experience is a bonus
- Knowledgeable in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment
- Strong background in relational databases and data architecture
- Well-versed in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall development methodologies
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and mentorship abilities
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-level web and mobile applications
- Review existing legacy JavaScript architecture and formulate modernization strategies using contemporary frameworks and technologies
- Create, test, debug, and document robust software solutions that fulfill business and operational needs
- Ensure that the application architecture is scalable, high-performing, secure, and maintainable across both cloud and on-premise platforms
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, conducting code reviews and providing architectural insights
- Manage the complete software development lifecycle, from initial planning and design to deployment and ongoing support
- Work alongside business stakeholders and leadership to convert requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and oversee project plans, development tasks, and timelines for projects of various complexities
- Leverage source control, issue tracking, and DevOps tools to ensure development quality and traceability
- Safeguard data integrity and accuracy in both staging and production environments
- Conduct high-level troubleshooting and assist with system upgrades as necessary
- Provide support to multiple locations and be available for periodic off-hours assistance when required
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to promote continuous improvement

This role merges hands-on development, architectural leadership, and technical oversight to create scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that align with our business goals. You will play a key role in shaping our application strategy while supporting vital systems across the organization. We operate solely on-site in Mayville, Wisconsin, as remote work is not an option.
