Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Four years of demonstrated experience in a technical support capacity, assisting with hardware, software, and networking concerns.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for independently diagnosing and addressing technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, Linux, and fundamental networking concepts.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic pace environment.
- Positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first-level support for all IT-related matters, including desktops, laptops, printers, software applications, and peripherals.
- Respond promptly to user inquiries via phone, email, Slack, or in-person, providing necessary technical support and assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software problems independently, escalating complex issues to the appropriate IT teams when needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks to guarantee optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and rectify computer issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with team members to pinpoint areas for improvement in IT processes and systems, contributing to the implementation of effective solutions.
- Keep precise records of IT projects, user inquiries, resolutions, system configurations, and network information.
- Assist in assigned IT projects, including software upgrades, hardware instillations, and system migrations.
