Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 complete EDI implementation projects required
- Experience with large-scale EDI initiatives involving multiple partners for onboarding EDI messages
- Proven ability to lead and oversee full lifecycle EDI integrations (850/855/856/810/854/812/820/830/862/410)
- Skilled in developing and maintaining EDI mapping documents to specify field-level data transformations between SAP IDocs and trading partner EDI formats
- Solid understanding of EDI standards and communication protocols (e.g., VAN, AS2)
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues swiftly across inbound and outbound documents
- Experience preparing functional specifications for custom developments related to Sales and Distribution (SD) and EDI
- Familiarity with third-party EDI platforms or middleware
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business users, technical developers, and external trading partners
- Expertise in the following areas: Sales order processing, Business Partner management, Partner Profiles, IDoc processing, CMI, Output determination, and message control
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end EDI integrations, ensuring successful execution of projects
- Develop and maintain comprehensive EDI mapping documentation to facilitate data transformations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any EDI-related issues that arise, ensuring timely solutions
- Collaborate with teams across business functions and communicate effectively with external partners
- Prepare detailed functional specifications for any custom developments related to EDI and SD
- Provide support and maintenance for ongoing projects, as well as work independently when necessary
Description
We are seeking a skilled EDI Analyst/Developer for a 9-month hybrid contract position based in Houston, TX, where the role requires onsite presence 3 days a week and remote work for 2 days.
