Requirements

Must:
- Basic understanding of computer technology and IT support - Customer service experience, preferably in a client-facing role - Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing - Cultural sensitivity and appreciation for diverse perspectives - A+, Network+, HDI, and/or Microsoft certifications are advantageous - ITIL v3 certification is a plus - Familiarity with Windows Client - Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience with various web browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox) - Basic knowledge of PC hardware - Fundamental understanding of network concepts - Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and domain concepts is a plus - Understanding of enterprise mobile devices is beneficial - Familiarity with fixed network telephones and VoIP support is desirable - Professionalism, assertiveness, accountability, and good time management skills - Enthusiasm, initiative, self-motivation, and a respect for colleagues - Effective communication skills with customers of varying technical expertise - Ability to resolve issues swiftly and escalate when necessary - Capacity to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make quick decisions

Responsibilities

- Accept incoming requests via phone, chat, email, and ticket queues - Log and manage incidents and service requests following established processes - Communicate with users to identify issues and offer solutions - Document incidents and resolutions as per process guidelines - Escalate incidents that cannot be resolved to appropriate teams - Initiate the escalation process according to defined procedures - Collaborate with team members using Skype/Lync - Assist in training and supporting other agents - Aim for average handling times of 4 to 12 minutes - Maintain an expected resolution rate of 50% to 80%
