Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of one year experience in IT support preferred
- Solid technical knowledge of current network, server, PC operating systems, hardware and software
- Proven ability to implement IT solutions to address business challenges
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Associates degree is required; Bachelors Degree is preferred
- Strong enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, and courtesy
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on desired outcomes
- Exceptional organizational abilities
- Proficient computer skills are essential
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality to protect the organizations integrity
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve technical issues
- Respond to requests for technical support via work orders, calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Keep thorough documentation and track assigned work orders for prompt resolution
- Monitor, test, and troubleshoot workstation hardware and software challenges
- Be available outside business hours for email, voice, and text communication
- Provide on-call support for IT-related emergencies
- Deploy, monitor, diagnose issues, update, and repair endpoints
- Assist users with all applications
- Communicate regularly in writing and in-person with senior management, department heads, and users about relevant IT updates
- Ensure supplies for printers are stocked and perform basic maintenance on printers/faxes
- Undertake other tasks or special projects as assigned
- Set up necessary equipment for in-services and other requested programs
- Participate in all in-person training sessions and digitally record one
- Oversee the PBX system and coordinate company cell phones
- Create, manage, and maintain user accounts for all software, ensuring accurate listings, provisioning, de-provisioning, and password resets
- Integrate facility-provided or third-party equipment into the IT system, including printers, phones, door controls, call systems, and cameras
- Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities and by engaging with professional healthcare IT networks
Description
We are seeking a dedicated IT Assistant to join our team full-time, working from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities. In this role, you will assist our staff and administration with hardware and software issues, collaborating closely with our contracted IT Consultant to implement and maintain systems.
