Requirements
Must:
- We are seeking 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support.
- We need strong proficiency supporting both macOS and Windows environments.
- We require hands-on experience with a ticketing or helpdesk platform.
- We value excellent troubleshooting ability and the capacity to work independently with limited oversight.
- We expect clear communication skills and a polished, professional approach when supporting executive-level colleagues.
- We require the ability to commute regularly between our San Francisco and Menlo Park offices.
- We prefer experience with a modern MDM solution for Mac and/or Windows devices.
- We prefer familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and identity or SSO systems.
- We prefer basic networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi troubleshooting and DHCP/DNS fundamentals.
- We prefer direct experience with Zoom Rooms and corporate A/V equipment.
- We prefer prior experience in financial services, venture capital, or professional services.
- We require the physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs.
- We require the ability to bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces such as under desks or in server rooms.
Responsibilities
- We serve as the primary helpdesk contact for hardware, software, and connectivity issues across macOS and Windows environments.
- We triage, prioritize, and resolve support requests through our helpdesk system in a timely and professional way.
- We set up, configure, and deploy laptops, workstations, and peripherals for both new hires and current employees.
- We provide high-touch, responsive support to partners and senior leaders.
- We manage macOS and mobile device enrollment, configuration, and compliance through our MDM platform.
- We support Windows endpoint administration through our enterprise device management tools.
- We maintain device inventory and ensure endpoints remain patched, compliant, and correctly configured.
- We assist with onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and account creation.
- We maintain and support A/V systems in conference rooms across both office locations.
- We keep Zoom Rooms functioning, current, and ready for use.
- We troubleshoot display, audio, and connectivity issues and coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.
- We complete routine walkthroughs to proactively identify and resolve A/V problems.
- We support administration of our core SaaS stack, including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, identity/SSO, and password management tools.
- We maintain accurate documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and asset tracking.
- We assist the IT Manager with special projects, including office infrastructure improvements and vendor coordination.
- We support security and compliance work such as phishing simulations, awareness training, endpoint policy enforcement, and due diligence responses.

We are hiring a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our lean, high-impact IT team and serve as the first point of contact for daily technical support across our San Francisco and Menlo Park offices. This is a hybrid position, with a consistent weekly schedule split between Menlo Park, San Francisco, and remote Fridays.
