Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in platform design, development, implementation, and maintenance of architectural runways.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Domain Architect, Platform Architect, Enterprise Architect, or a similar role with a focus on hands-on development.
- Extensive experience with the .NET framework and Azure cloud platform.
- Knowledge of project management techniques; cross-functional experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in maturing platforms through continuous improvement and innovation.
- Technical team leadership experience.
- Experience in a Scaled Agile framework is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development architecture, lifecycle methodologies, deployment tooling, and practices for cloud and/or on-premises solutions.
- Drives development and solution standards across the IT department, requiring strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the Azure platform and building solutions with services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and Azure Databases.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to identify and evaluate platform risks and define mitigation and control activities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as planning and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
In the role of Platform Architect, you will:
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to architecture, design, and development processes, standards, and patterns.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions using the .NET framework and Azure services.
- Engage directly in coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in software design and architecture are followed.
- Utilize Azure services to architect and deploy cloud-based solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to evolve and promote proven standards, patterns, and practices across IT.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving existing systems and processes.
- Ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and align with industry standards and best practices.
- Translate business needs into technical architecture requirements and maintain the stability and usability of the platform across production and non-production environments.
- Communicate IT requirements and guidelines to vendor partners and estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
