Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree or higher in informatics, computer science/engineering, health information, statistics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
- Experience with machine learning applied to pharmaceutical or clinical data, or adapted AI techniques from other industries
- Proficient in computer programming, preferably in Python
- Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
- Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Investigate and integrate various data sources into actionable insights
- Collaborate with diverse business teams to pinpoint areas where AI can enhance operations
- Oversee the journey from AI discovery through research to Proof of Concept and final production with business teams, facilitating support for IT developers
- Experiment with various AI tools to validate their applicability for business use
- Create impactful visual representations to demonstrate the advantages of AI and work with business teams to highlight its value
- Design and organize the database architecture of methodological and clinical data systems
- Translate business tasks into actionable developer tasks for agile sprints
- Assist in departmental initiatives aimed at process improvement, including those that involve AI
- Mentor and support the growth of junior team members
