Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience as a Software Tester.
- Over 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and executing test cases, and maintaining them within test case management tools like Jira-Zephyr or similar.
- Proven experience in building automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Strong background in designing, developing, and sustaining end-to-end automated tests using Playwright.
- Proficiency in SQL and database testing.
- Ability to consistently focus on deadlines and deliverables.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with both internal teams and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to speak the language of business and provide insightful recommendations.
- A proactive, positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Capacity to analyze user needs and effectively translate business and technical requirements into functional test plans.
- Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter and effectively within a team setting.
- Quick adaptability to complex and dynamic environments.
- Proven capability to deliver results utilizing SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and manage test cases, automation scripts, and essential test artifacts, including test data and validation.
- Provide accurate test estimations and manage reviews for peer test cases.
- Execute the test plan comprehensively and oversee activities to ensure all objectives are successfully achieved and the solution performs as intended.
- Confirm that every software feature and phase is thoroughly tested, documenting any potential issues and collaborating with the Product Owner before the product launch.
- Conduct tests assessing functionality, automation, performance, load/stress, reliability, stability, and compatibility across various systems.
- Maintain testing metrics related to bug resolution and user acceptance testing to monitor progress.
- Validate data integrity and precision through database queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows testing.
- Assess and document the impacts of software defects accurately.
- Ensure validated deliverables comply with functional, design specifications, and requirements.
- Utilize suitable tools and applications aligned with enterprise standards.
- Manage test artifacts using case management tools such as Jira-Zephyr.
- Conduct testing across multiple browsers, operating systems, and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure swift issue resolution.
- Actively participate in Agile/SCRUM team activities.
- Demonstrate experience in testing web services with tools like REST, SoapUI, and Postman.
