Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or General Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for business needs.
- Ability to stand or walk throughout the day in a warehouse setting.
- Preferred: At least 5 years of engineering experience.
- Preferred: Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering or General Engineering.
- Preferred: Experience in distribution or warehousing.
- Highly preferred: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SQL Developer, Microsoft Access, Smartsheet, and WMS (Manhattan).
- Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Coupa, Avetta, SAP, LMS/TMS (Manhattan).
- General skills in capital budgeting, complex project scheduling, and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Guide multiple nationwide projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with individuals across various departments and disciplines.
- Assess, develop, and collaborate with tech solution providers to evaluate and implement advanced solutions.
- Offer indirect support and direction to Operations Engineer I and II roles.
- Provide expertise in Warehouse Management Systems, Labor Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, and Microsoft Access.
- Conduct and implement work measurement techniques, including time and motion studies.
