Senior IT Controls Analyst

- Assist in all facets of IT compliance with internal control standards, encompassing design, implementation, documentation, and testing of IT controls and processes. - Work with IT, finance, and other teams to identify and document significant IT controls and compliance processes. - Develop and sustain documentation of the IT controls environment (including process flows, narratives, and control matrices) by conducting walkthroughs and noting essential details. - Evaluate the implications of new business projects, system rollouts, and policy adjustments on the IT internal control landscape. Provide training and guidance to ensure compliance. - Carry out ongoing evaluations and audits of IT internal controls to verify compliance with standards and pinpoint potential compliance risks or issues. - Identify control deficiencies, assess risk, and formulate corrective action strategies to effectively address gaps, ensuring sustainable control processes. - Create and enforce IT compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Aid in the timely provision of necessary documentation and proof for both internal and external auditors. - Assist in the selection, setup, and adoption of GRC tools to support IT internal controls endeavors. - Facilitate or execute IT internal control activities when necessary. - Recommend efficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement pertaining to the IT internal controls program. - Provide training on IT internal controls as needed. - Collaborate with various teams to establish, implement, and enhance IT internal controls. - Monitor and report on the effectiveness of controls and other program performance metrics through dashboards.
