Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in business management, computer science, information systems, or related fields
- Over 8 years of experience in SAP SD consulting and business analysis
- Strong practical skills in SAP SD configuration, including integration with various SAP modules and external systems
- Proven expertise in implementing sophisticated SAP SD and pricing functionalities in large distribution and manufacturing sectors; experience in Distribution, Lifesciences, or Pharma is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of SAP pricing, contracts, rebate management, and complex pricing scenario design
- Strong grasp of price simulation, catalog generation, price quoting processes, and sales order to invoice processes, along with familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations
- Experience with Vistex is beneficial, although the primary emphasis is on SAP SD pricing
- Comprehensive understanding of order processing, delivery, billing, pricing arrangements, and rebates
- Solid comprehension of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Capability to work effectively with and influence senior management
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) along with stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to operate as an individual contributor while maintaining a high level of team and stakeholder interaction
- Self-driven with a keen attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with an appreciation for both long-term and short-term perspectives
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset dedicated to continuous improvement
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic pricing initiatives throughout Medlines SAP ecosystem, including modernization and S/4HANA implementation efforts.
- Design and implement sophisticated pricing solutions encompassing contracts, discounts, group memberships, price catalogs, and custom quoting applications.
- Work on advanced pricing functionalities that interact with Vistex features related to contracts and memberships.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Product Divisions, Finance, and IT to ensure pricing accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Function as the subject matter expert (SME) for pricing, aiding in upgrades, rollouts, and enhancements.
- Analyze and enhance Medlines business processes, identifying areas for automation, simplification, and system improvements.
- Build strong relationships and partner with business users and leadership to define processes, roadmaps, and execute on agreed application priorities.
- Work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, define, and transform requirements into scalable solutions.
- Configure and sustain SAP SD pricing components, including procedures, condition types, access sequences, and condition records.
- Lead and manage project delivery, driving initiatives to completion with minimal supervision and a proactive mindset.
- Analyze and rectify pricing-related challenges, ensuring system availability and responsiveness to business demands.
- Document requirements, solution designs, test plans, and transition activities in line with Medlines SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Assist with pricing improvements through testing, training, and ongoing support for users.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and present ideas to wider user and leadership audiences.
- Offer business support as necessary, including participation in on-call rotations.
