Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, cybersecurity, networking, or a similar discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in network security or security operations, including work in enterprise environments and providing on-call support.
- Proficient hands-on knowledge of network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring solutions.
- Familiarity with structured processes for incidents, problems, and change management.
- Proven capability to analyze and resolve intricate operational challenges under pressure.
- Experience with audits and comprehension of security control implementation and evidence requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily network security operations, ensuring compliance with service standards, operational protocols, and audit regulations.
- Guarantee the precision, quality, and promptness of ticket resolution within network security operations.
- Enhance and refine operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures continuously.
- Spot and execute automation and process enhancement opportunities.
- Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation to support operational needs.
- Track key performance metrics and report findings to leadership.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business partners to enhance service delivery.
- Mentor and guide team members to ensure operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation contact for complex and critical incidents or operational issues raised by team members.
