Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Over 10 years of experience in delivering various ecommerce solutions with hands-on knowledge of platforms like Azure, Bloomreach, SAP Hybris, Oracle ATG Commerce, etc.
- At least 4 years of experience using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in staff management and development
- Practical expertise in Cloud API and microservices design, development, and deployment across cloud platforms
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, etc.)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot, JPA, and RESTful Web Services
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle projects, particularly microservices transformations
- Strong collaborative skills and experience in both onshore and offshore settings
- Technical ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Solid understanding of data and systems interaction for informed decision-making
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence senior management
- Track record of cultivating and motivating a technical team
- Insight into E-commerce DevOps tools and practices is a plus
- Familiarity with various development practices, both waterfall and agile, alongside release management best practices
- Experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and Cosmos
- Exceptional prioritization, interpersonal skills, problem-solving capabilities, and planning skills
- Self-driven with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications
Responsibilities
- Assemble and lead a team dedicated to supporting our high-traffic B2B ecommerce website (medline.com)
- Provide technical leadership to an exceptional team of software engineers, demonstrating the ability to build cloud-native applications
- Mentor and challenge team members to foster both personal and professional growth
- Identify and rectify skill gaps within the team to ensure consistent training and success
- Uphold quality software engineering practices while ensuring timely delivery of top-notch products
- Manage team hiring and mentorship, engaging in meaningful discussions about career aspirations and offering timely feedback
- Maintain reliable release processes to guarantee stability during new feature deployments
- Implement effective change and configuration management strategies
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders, product owners, Scrum Masters, and analysts to facilitate the delivery of critical ecommerce features
- Regularly sync with development teams to confirm adherence to project timelines
- Work closely with Scrum Masters to promptly eliminate any obstacles
- Participate in adjusting feature release plans to align with shifting business priorities
- Advocate for incremental release processes to support hybrid microservices transformations
- Drive automation efforts in the ecommerce space in cooperation with internal teams and other partners
- Assist in managing service integrator and technology vendor relationships
- Partner with the architecture team to devise optimal designs focused on availability, reliability, scalability, and security
- Make informed technology recommendations for the B2B ecommerce landscape
- Reinforce principles and validate infrastructure architecture to enhance business functions and future growth
- Collaborate with internal business users to refine Medlines B2B ecommerce roadmap and platform
