Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or General Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in software applications such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Labor Management System (LMS)
- Ability to stand or walk throughout the day in a warehousing environment
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for business purposes
Responsibilities
- Analyze, assess, and suggest technology solutions to minimize expenses and improve cost structure at Medline
- Oversee multiple medium-scale nationwide projects from initial concept to completion, engaging various departments and specialties
- Propose and apply solutions for straightforward or complex projects based on thorough engineering analyses, including work measurement and statistical evaluations
- Create project plans of basic to medium complexity, including action steps and timelines to ensure high-quality, on-time deliveries within budget
- Utilize work measurement techniques, including time and motion studies, to establish labor standards and ensure accuracy during implementation with staff
- Employ various slotting techniques and philosophies to continuously reduce labor by minimizing travel time
