Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP GTS integration and configuration.
- At least 5 years of direct experience in SAP GTS development and implementation.
- Proficient in product classification, compliance & customs management, FTA & FTZ.
- Expertise in SAP GTS development to support ongoing developmental needs.
- Strong understanding of import & export management, customs processes, and trade compliance regulations.
- Contribute to system deployments, rollouts, and continuous daily enhancements.
- Develop and test custom SAP GTS programs for data conversions and interfaces.
- Experience interfacing with SAP is a plus.
- Gather functional and business requirements from users and collaborate with technical teams for design and implementation.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and guide functional design approval processes.
- Prepare and review documentation for thoroughness and precision.
- Engage with business users, client managers, and specialists to grasp requirements and the broader implementation landscape.
- Capable of devising high-level solutions tailored to specific needs.
- Recommend and assess various solution options based on requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, planning, and communication abilities.
- Proven aptitude for testing complex test plans/scripts.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
- Excellent professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Comprehend Medlines business processes in global trade and related areas.
- Collaborate with Medline business users to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Transform documented requirements and proposed solutions into comprehensive systems designs that can be implemented by teams in India or the US. Analyze designs for impact and create corresponding test plans.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs meet business needs and validate software solutions.
- Assist development staff in the design and unit testing processes, regardless of programming language used.
- Establish test strategies and execute application test plans.
- Aid testing staff in the execution of test plans.
- Diagnose reported system issues using data analysis and debugging tools as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for handling support issues during Medline India business hours, including end-user queries and scheduled batch job troubles.
- Provide feedback to development and functional teams to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain regular communication with Configuration Analysts at Corporate Headquarters to stay updated on new and modified business processes and system enhancements.
- Deliver verbal reports and clear written documentation on all tasks assigned.
- Offer estimates and constructive feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling.
