Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (Masters degree preferred)
- Over 15 years of professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a Product Owner or Product Manager role
- At least 5 years of experience in integration leadership and development
- Five or more years of experience in crafting product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Previous employment as a software engineer or in a technical position
- Profound understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum/SAFe)
- Familiarity with development projects, cloud platforms, and contemporary technology stacks
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Significant experience in at least one domain related to Integration Services
- Proficiency with Agile practices, JIRA, and Confluence, including requirement translation, analysis, and alignment with standard methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong aptitude for connecting with customers to discern their requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Expertise in defining product vision, creating user stories, and prioritizing backlogs
- Capacity to balance long-term strategic vision with practical, incremental delivery needs
- Proven record of contributing to product vision and roadmap development
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide the team
- Excellent skills in making data-driven decisions and problem-solving
Nice to have:
- Experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, Solace, or WSO2
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Strong understanding of API Management, low-code platforms, test automation, and various testing frameworks
- Experience with DevOps and testing tools
- Certification as a Product Owner (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee the product roadmap in partnership with stakeholders
- Convert business requirements into precise product specifications and user narratives
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to guarantee on-time and high-quality outcomes
- Prioritize features and enhancements by assessing customer feedback, business value, and technical viability
- Serve as the intermediary between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Undertake market research and competitive analyses to guide product strategy
- Track product performance and make iterations based on data and user insights
- Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with relevant standards
- Act as the main contact point for customers, development, and engineering teams
- Work with stakeholders to outline and refine the product vision and roadmap
- Align the product vision with business objectives and customer requirements
- Communicate the product vision and roadmap to the development team for understanding and acceptance
- Create and maintain a transparent and prioritized product backlog understood by the team
- Guide the development team to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Analyze product performance metrics to identify enhancement opportunities
- Investigate and recommend tailored designs to address client or business challenges and clarify business requirements for application configuration tasks
- Propel process and productivity enhancements in current operations based on analysis of established processes versus system capabilities and expected improvements
- Define return on investment and secure agreement with ops/engineering on associated ROI and resource allocation
- Balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and regulatory obligations to deliver key features punctually
- Partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to implement scalable solutions
- Act as the primary liaison for all features, clarifying priorities and resolving cross-functional interdependencies
- Gather stakeholder feedback, evaluate performance metrics, and remain updated on industry best practices to foster iterative improvements
- Negotiate trade-offs and adapt priorities according to resource limitations and pressing business needs
