Requirements

Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in analysis, configuration, and development on relevant platforms. - At least 3 years of hands-on development experience with preferred programming languages and database tools. - Minimum 2 years in an operations role providing production support for large enterprise applications. - Proven track record supporting and enhancing Windows and Linux-based systems in enterprise environments (dev/test/prod), with a focus on operational readiness for deployments. - Strong problem-solving skills and incident response capabilities, including root-cause analysis. - Practical experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, and/or Bash to minimize manual operational tasks. - Familiarity with implementing or managing monitoring and observability solutions (dashboards, alerting, log analysis) using tools such as Splunk and LogicMonitor. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to create stable, scalable platform solutions.

Responsibilities

- Configure and oversee Windows and Linux systems, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure services. - Prepare environments for application rollouts and ensure infrastructure is ready for planned adjustments and new deployments. - Design, implement, and sustain scalable, secure Windows/Linux server environments that support enterprise application launches (including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting). - Monitor infrastructure health and performance; proactively identify issues and lead resolution efforts with a root-cause approach. - Establish and enhance dashboards, monitoring standards, and alerting plans for systems and applications to facilitate proactive detection and swift troubleshooting. - Utilize monitoring/logging platforms (e.g., LogicMonitor, AppDynamics, Splunk) to support observability and incident response. - Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to reduce manual interventions and ensure consistency across environments. - Lead automation projects using tools like Ansible or Terraform when applicable; collaborate with platform teams to further infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD integration. - Assess and implement AI-driven features within observability/monitoring tools to decrease alert noise, enhance anomaly detection, and prioritize telemetry for faster responses. - Aid in operationalizing intelligent dashboards and analytics that address specific health and reliability queries for the portfolio. - Leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot to expedite the creation of runbooks, post-incident summaries, knowledge base articles, and stakeholder communications while ensuring precision and proper data handling. - When suitable and approved, contribute to the development or refinement of internal copilots/agents to streamline support workflows and enhance self-service access to operational knowledge. - Serve as a liaison between IT infrastructure, security, and development teams; facilitate solutions that span multiple IT units. - Work in collaboration with business partners and application development teams to construct, enhance, test, secure, and debug system functionalities as necessary. - Address system anomalies, such as performance and vulnerability alerts; coordinate remediation efforts with the appropriate teams. - Conduct root-cause analysis for system-related incidents and implement actions that enhance resilience and minimize recurring issues. - Observe delivery processes and propose improvements to increase efficiency.
