Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure, Jenkins, Terraform, GitLab) preferred but not mandatory.
- Over 5 years of experience in Platform Operations or DevOps, particularly in managing enterprise-level environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong abilities in communication and documentation.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers, including conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
- Skilled in automation frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) applications at scale.
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in complex, multi-platform environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and enhance the operational performance and uptime of assigned platforms.
- Execute and oversee upgrades, patches, and configuration modifications across platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents, service disruptions, and performance challenges.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform alignment with both business and technical specifications.
- Automate operational duties and workflows through scripting and native tools.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and best practices across all platforms.
- Oversee user access, permissions, and integrations for supported platforms.
- Create and update documentation for platform operations, procedures, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents as needed.
- Assist in audit and compliance activities connected to platform operations.
- Continually assess and suggest enhancements to platform architecture and operational methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers by offering technical guidance and support.
- Track team objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate project management and coordination for impactful initiatives.
