Senior Platform Engineer

- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of cloud-native platform solutions using contemporary infrastructure-as-code and automation technologies - Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines and self-service platforms for developers - Create abstraction layers and APIs to reduce complexity for development teams - Implement and oversee container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Docker - Ensure platform security, compliance, and data safeguarding through automated mechanisms and monitoring techniques - Collaborate with development teams to understand their workflow needs and deliver customized platform functionalities - Build and maintain thorough monitoring, logging, and observability solutions - Document platform architectures, processes, and best practices for internal use - Assess and incorporate new technologies to improve platform capabilities and enhance the developer experience - Provide technical support and direction to Platform Operations and stakeholders - Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for platform issues - Contribute to the platform strategy and roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives - Mentor and guide junior engineers while supporting their professional growth - Monitor team goals and project milestones to ensure alignment with broader organizational targets - Assist with project management and coordination of essential initiatives
