Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience focusing on SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP CPI
- Strong proficiency in ABAP development, particularly with IDOCs, BAPI, RFC, and ALE
- Extensive hands-on experience with REST/SOAP web services, XML, JSON, XSLT, and mapping/transformation techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP PI/PO architecture and migration methodologies
- Practical experience with Advanced Event Mesh
- Proficient in at least one programming language: Java, Groovy, or Python
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA integration scenarios
- Skilled in OAuth, SAML, SSL, and other security protocols
- Acquainted with SQL and capable of navigating SAP HANA, Oracle, or similar relational databases
- 8+ years of experience in SAP integration development is preferred
- SAP certifications in Integration Suite, BTP, or Cloud Platform Integration are an advantage
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices
- Familiar with Agile development practices and tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Previous exposure to SAP Open Connectors, Graph API, and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement intricate integration flows utilizing SAP BTP Integration Suite, CPI, and Advanced Event Mesh
- Create and manage synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between cloud and on-premise systems
- Configure and oversee SAP BTP environments, including Cloud Connector setup, security role assignments, and API provisioning
- Utilize components of SAP Integration Suite like API Management, Open Connectors, CPI-DS, and SAP Event Mesh
- Configure the Solace messaging infrastructure, managing topics, queues, and various subscription types
- Transition existing integrations from legacy systems, such as SAP PI, to SAP Integration Suite
- Engage in API-first design approaches, crafting secure and scalable APIs compliant with REST/SOAP standards
- Monitor and resolve integration challenges through tools like SAP Solution Manager and CPI Monitoring Dashboards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications
- Mentor junior developers and facilitate technical knowledge sharing sessions
- Enhance existing integrations focusing on performance optimization, maintainability, and error management
- Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and spearhead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement
- Work with tools like ElasticSearch and Splunk to monitor and log integration activities
- Provide support for production environments and resolve issues as needed
