Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Release Management, Project Coordination, or DevOps in an e-commerce or digital platform setting
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to handle multiple concurrent releases across diverse teams
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
- Preferred: Experience in e-commerce ecosystems including order management, product catalog, pricing, checkout, or payment systems
- Preferred: Understanding of Agile/Scrum and ITIL change management processes
- Preferred: Exposure to microservices, APIs, and containerized deployments
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Development, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams to establish release scope, content, and schedules
- Maintain a release calendar for e-commerce applications, microservices, and integrations
- Lead release readiness reviews and go/no-go decision meetings
- Coordinate all release activities from build packaging to deployment, followed by post-release verification
- Ensure all pre-release checks, including testing, security, compliance, and approvals, are completed
- Monitor the progress of releases and proactively identify any potential risks or conflicts
- Serve as the main point of contact for all release-related communications between business and technology stakeholders
- Provide comprehensive release notes, deployment schedules, and status updates
- Document any issues and lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Enforce release management processes and best practices for our e-commerce applications
- Ensure all releases comply with change management, security, and compliance standards
- Track and report on metrics related to releases, such as frequency, lead time, failure rate, and recovery time
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to automate and optimize release pipelines
- Propose tools and processes that will enhance the reliability and speed of e-commerce releases
- Engage in post-release retrospectives and drive process improvements
Description

This role is vital to the planning, management, and execution of software releases across various e-commerce platforms and services, ensuring smooth and timely delivery with minimal disruption to our customers and business operations.
