Senior Developer Analyst - IT - Winnetka

- Design and develop extensions for our web commerce platform to cater to various business needs - Oversee detailed design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of Medlines B2C Magento 2 platform - Act as the primary contact for resolving issues and enhancements in specific product, functional, and technical areas - Facilitate story breakdown activities for the development squad - Collaborate with the Product Owner and Business Analyst during backlog grooming sessions - Contribute actively to the technical architecture for new e-commerce business needs, including decisions related to build versus buy - Troubleshoot and fix software defects as they arise - Follow established coding standards and participate in code reviews - Produce comprehensive unit test results - Adhere to IS Department policies and best practices - Work efficiently within an iterative SDLC environment - Lead design meetings alongside users, management, and architects - Analyze production issues to determine root causes and necessary actions for resolution - Help establish and maintain development standards - Create and deliver documentation to ensure proper utilization of new changes and implementations - Prepare user documentation under guidance to ensure correct use of new developments - Keep management and team members informed of challenges and status updates in a timely manner - Present areas of expertise to team members with the support of senior staff, lead, or manager - Maintain a professional demeanor while engaging with all levels of Medline employees
