Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in analysis, configuration, and development on relevant platforms
- 2+ years of practical development experience with required programming languages and database tools
- 1+ year in an operations role providing production support for large enterprise applications
- Strong analytical abilities to comprehend business objectives and craft suitable solutions
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- General knowledge of web and cloud technologies and the distinctions between SaaS, PaaS, and on-premises system deployments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical information to varied audiences (business leaders vs technical staff)
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
- Capacity to work independently as a self-starter and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners and application development teams to enhance, secure, and debug system functionalities
- Author and update system and process documentation such as workflow diagrams and specifications
- Conduct peer reviews and offer guidance to team members as required
- Partner with infrastructure and application teams to design a comprehensive system monitoring and alerting strategy
- Address any system anomalies like performance or vulnerability alerts and work with respective teams to resolve them
- Respond to inquiries from business partners and user requests escalated by help desk
- Create and maintain a knowledge base for efficient handling of recurring inquiries and requests
- Perform root-cause analysis for incidents related to system and infrastructure
- Ensure all software and infrastructure elements are up-to-date with necessary patches
- Plan and implement updates alongside partner teams as necessary
- Contribute to system compliance audits such as HITRUST
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures as needed
- Adhere to IS change management policies during release processes
- Identify and apply best practices for efficient deployment and rollback processes
