Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
- Over 7 years of progressive experience in network security or security operations, particularly within enterprise environments and on-call support.
- Strong hands-on expertise with network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with structured incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Proven ability to calmly analyze and resolve intricate operational issues under pressure.
- Experience with audit support and understanding security control execution and evidence requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily network security operations to ensure compliance with service levels, operational protocols, and audit standards.
- Guarantee accuracy, quality, and promptness in ticket resolution across network security functions.
- Maintain and consistently enhance operational documentation, runbooks, and standard procedures.
- Identify and initiate automation and process enhancement opportunities.
- Participate and support a 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
- Monitor essential operational metrics and provide updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and business partners to enhance service delivery.
- Coach and mentor team members to foster operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complicated, high-impact incidents and operational challenges presented by team members.
