Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or related fields, or its equivalent from another country, along with 8 years of pertinent work experience.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, and GitHub Actions for streamlining the software delivery lifecycle through code versioning, automated builds, testing, and deployment.
- Skilled in Cloud Automation tools including Azure Automation, ARM Templates, and Azure LogicApps to programmatically manage, configure, and monitor cloud resources with reduced human error.
- Experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef for automating infrastructure setup and configuration, ensuring uniformity and version tracking across environments.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation and administrative tasks in various environments (Windows, Linux, cloud).
- Understanding of ML/AI tools including Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, and TensorFlow for developing and operationalizing machine learning models that enhance business applications.
- Knowledge of supporting Infrastructure Automation solutions like BMC Server Automation and vRealize Orchestrator for managing infrastructure lifecycle tasks.
- Experience with Process Orchestrator / Low-Code tools like MS Power Platform and UiPath to automate and refine IT and business processes, cutting down manual efforts.
- Ability to innovate and research market trends in automation technologies to resolve challenges and boost efficiency and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer a dependable, scalable, and secure Infrastructure Automation Platform to facilitate cloud migration and software modernization.
- Deliver solutions through the Automation Platform catered to customer, product, developer, and operational requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Encourage a team culture focused on serving platform customers by consistently gathering and addressing customer feedback.
- Prepare comprehensive architectural specifications to document design decisions, communicating them clearly to technical teams and stakeholders.
- Promote the adoption of the automation platform and its services through education and advocacy within the engineering and operations teams.
- Analyze market trends and conduct competitive assessments for infrastructure automation technologies to ensure our platform remains industry-leading.
- Diagnose and resolve platform issues in collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Work alongside Enterprise Architecture and Software Engineering teams to enhance self-service platform capabilities for improved developer experiences.
- Partner with IT Operations for effective management and oversight of cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring high availability of solutions.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Automation team to implement automated testing for deployment pipelines.
- Engage with Compliance and Security teams to verify that infrastructure and applications adhere to compliance standards and safeguard against cybersecurity risks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to provide technical insight and leadership.
- Take part in ITIL-related change, incident, and problem management processes for automation solutions.
- Manage platform expenses and budgeting alongside the IT Finance Division, ensuring alignment with product show/charge backs.
