Developer Analyst - Java & SQL

- Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and assist with application software relevant to technical specialties - Collaborate with configuration analysts to grasp business needs and effectively translate them into reliable application software - Conduct comprehensive unit tests to ensure compliance with functional design rules and technical options - Create technical documentation, program code, and unit tests aligned with functional requirements, adhering to departmental standards - Evaluate various development options to determine the best technical solutions for Medline - Document long-term data storage requirements, application performance, and recovery protocols during design and development - Identify opportunities for reusing existing code in new technical designs - Develop program code with an emphasis on future reuse and modularization - Apply appropriate data modeling techniques when creating new data structures - Adhere to departmental standards for source code control and transport management - Debug code in specific technical areas to resolve performance and functional issues - Provide on-call support for critical issues outside of regular work hours as outlined in the team schedule - Assess data sensitivity and process control to establish security and user authorization implications
