Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Applied Statistics. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis. - Proficiency in Microsoft Access, including advanced functions such as modifying field properties and creating queries. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including functions like AVERAGE and creating pivot tables. - Strong numeric abilities to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. - Familiarity with algebra and business statistics. - Willingness to travel for work-related activities.

Responsibilities

- Analyze current product pricing across various market sectors, identifying trends and suggesting appropriate price ranges based on customer types. - Prepare and review sales forecasts and results reports, including variance analyses against budgeted forecasts. - Examine pricing for all customers to detect instances where it diverges from established ranges. - Evaluate pricing to pinpoint items priced outside standard levels for typical market customers. - Create moderately complex reports and queries for sales management to assess sales efficiency and resource utilization. - Ensure new pricing rules are reviewed for their impact on sales commissions prior to implementation. - Assess third-party industry pricing data relevant to our customers and its implications for the company. - Assist sales teams in developing and reviewing deal structures and contract conditions. - Collaborate with Sales, Information Systems, and Finance teams to refine and maintain reporting requirements, ensuring systems deliver accurate and timely data. - Provide mentorship and training to junior analysts, aiding them in developing their skills to meet and exceed targets such as pricing accuracy and fill rates.
