IT Helpdesk Project Manager

- Develop detailed project plans encompassing resources, timelines, and budgets - Act as a liaison with vendors to define project requirements and scope, as well as to facilitate issue resolution - Support the HIT department in project procurement, addressing progress inquiries, and assessing risks and opportunities - Ensure proper project closure, guaranteeing user satisfaction and documenting relevant project artifacts - Coordinate and guide project activities across various departments and serve as a point of contact for assigned ITHD projects - Manage scheduling of meetings, documenting issues and risks, entering updates into Smartsheet, and maintaining project documentation - Produce and disseminate project status reports and other communications - Organize meetings within the HIT department and with vendors - Create and format electronic documents such as letters, memos, status reports, presentations, and spreadsheets - Support the HIT VP and Manager in assessing software, hardware, and vendor contracts, ensuring accurate tracking and adherence to contractual obligations - Engage in or oversee vendor selection and solution processes, including gathering requirements and analyzing the competitive landscape - Develop solutions comparisons and recommend new capabilities to enhance departmental operations and initiatives across MedPOINT Management - Generate reports and dashboards within Smartsheet to present project and resource statuses to executive leadership
