Requirements
Must:
- I require a working understanding of IT compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA.
- Familiarity with software development processes, especially within C#/.NET environments is essential.
- Experience in managing third-party IT vendors or Managed Services Providers (MSPs) will be beneficial.
- Strong skills in documentation, organization, and communication are necessary.
- I seek someone who is comfortable collaborating across IT, engineering, and compliance teams.
Responsibilities
- I will need you to take ownership of managing IT control documentation and tracking processes.
- You will partner with developers and product leads on user access reviews and system audits.
- It is important that you document and assist in enforcing change management and deployment procedures.
- Reviewing pull requests for formatting and consistency while performing light development tasks will be expected.
- I expect you to help create and maintain security policies, procedures, and checklists.
- You will manage daily communications and escalations with our outsourced Managed Services Provider.
- It will also be important for you to assist in responding to third-party risk assessments and SOC 2 audits.
Description
In this role as an IT Controls & DevOps Specialist, you will engage in a hybrid position that combines problem-solving skills with a focus on IT security, compliance, and application support. You will act as a key partner for internal IT controls and SOC 2 readiness, while also offering light full-stack support as needed. Additionally, you will serve as the main point of contact with our outsourced MSP, coordinating all IT-related tasks and managing vendor relationships. My mission is to ensure that we uphold robust internal controls and comprehensive IT documentation, while also contributing to development and DevOps workflows that enhance the security, stability, and compliance of our platforms. I aim to have you close to our Director of Engineering, playing a crucial role in maintaining operational continuity across technical infrastructure and compliance domains. We offer a full-time position with a salary range of $67,887.35 - $81,756.80 annually, along with benefits including a 401(k) plan, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. Please note that this role is in-office, located in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
