Requirements
Must:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least two years of experience in a help desk or technical support position.
- Proficient troubleshooting abilities in Windows and macOS environments.
- Familiarity with essential networking principles such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
- Practical experience supporting Salesforce in an end-user or administrative role.
- Experience with IT service management or ticketing platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems, firewalls, and network monitoring tools is preferred.
- Experience in supporting remote working environments is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk assistance to users through phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
- Identify and solve hardware, software, and networking problems affecting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Address network connectivity challenges, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP issues.
- Install, configure, and sustain operating systems and key business applications.
- Forward intricate or unsolved issues to senior IT personnel or vendors when necessary.
- Manage user accounts utilizing Active Directory, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365.
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including hardware setup and access permissions.
- Keep precise records of systems, issues, solutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
- Assist Salesforce users with account setup, permission management, and access issues.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce login, access, and data-related challenges.
- Help with basic Salesforce configurations, reports, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote a cooperative team atmosphere.
