Development Engineer - SPPDG

- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution - Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience - Familiarity with firmware development, testing, and verification - Proficiency with basic lab equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes) - Experience with logic analyzers and embedded IDEs - Strong skills in C programming language and embedded architectures - Knowledge of serial communication protocols - Ability to generate tests based on functional requirements - Proficient in documenting test plans, execution, and results - Strong communication skills for conveying technical information to team members - Preferred: Familiarity with ARM Cortex M4 core - Preferred: Experience with UART, I2C, SPI communication protocols - Preferred: Proficiency in Python, particularly for testing - Preferred: Familiarity with version control systems like Git - Preferred: Experience with Swift and iOS programming - Preferred: Knowledge of multithreaded RTOS environments - Preferred: Interest in applying engineering expertise to physiological signals such as photoplethysmography and electrocardiograms - Preferred: Strong documentation skills for programming and testing processes - Preferred: Compliance with embedded coding standards - Preferred: Participation in code and design reviews - Preferred: Strong data analysis skills for debugging solutions - Preferred: Real-time debugging experience - Preferred: Proficient in using debuggers for analyzing stack usage and RTOS mechanisms
