Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Availability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX up to five days a week, as needed by the customer
- IAT Level II certification (compliant with DoD 8570/8140)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT systems administration, focusing on Microsoft and Linux platforms
- Practical knowledge of managing AWS GovCloud environments, including system maintenance activities like patching, STIG implementation, upgrades, and vulnerability mitigation
- Familiarity with DoD security, compliance, and authorization requirements (RMF/ATO)
- Proven experience in administering, securing, and operating cloud-based systems in AWS environments that support mission-critical operations
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, notably Kubernetes and Docker
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools, such as GitLab, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant area
- Desired AWS certifications, including AWS Solutions Architect and AWS SysOps Administrator
- Additional certifications like Red Hat (RHCSA, RHCE) and Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) are a plus
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the tasks described in the role
- Utilize analytical skills to enhance processes, conduct specialized studies, and define requirements
- Perform duties related to analysis, planning, procedure development, functional architecture, and other management and technical responsibilities
- Assist in deploying the JCO system within the JCC2 AWS environment as necessary
- Provide support for the timely implementation of hotfixes and patches whenever required
