Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Willingness to work on-site in San Antonio, TX, up to five days a week based on customer needs
- IAT Level II certification (compliant with DoD 8570/8140)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT systems administration for Microsoft and Linux environments
- Practical experience managing AWS GovCloud environments, including system maintenance tasks like patching, STIG implementation, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation
- Experience with DoD security, compliance, and authorization (RMF/ATO) obligations
- Proven track record in administering, securing, and operating cloud-based systems in AWS environments for mission-critical applications
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads with Docker
- Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab) and Infrastructure as Code solutions like Terraform and Ansible
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS SysOps Administrator
- Relevant Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE)
- Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD)
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned tasks
- Utilize analytical skills to enhance process improvement, conduct specialized studies, and define user requirements
- Engage in thorough analysis, planning, and procedure development along with functional architectural tasks
- Support deployment of the JCO system in the JCC2 AWS environment as required
- Ensure timely rollout of hotfixes and patches when necessary
