Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
- Must be available for on-site work in San Antonio, TX up to five days a week based on client needs.
- A Bachelors degree in a relevant field is essential.
- A Masters degree can substitute for two years of work experience.
- Seven years of experience in software development using object-oriented and scripted languages with knowledge of DevSecOps, microservices, and container tools.
- Three years of experience with bug tracking tools, specifically Jira.
- Three years of experience testing web applications.
- Three years of involvement in software development projects or programs.
- Three years of experience in back-end web design and development.
- Three years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
- Five years of experience using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Five years of experience with at least five of the following technologies: Postgress, RDS, Exodus, Python, Luna, Java, Docker, OpenJDK, Ansible, Packer, Maven, Kubernetes, and Red Hat.
- Proven experience in relational databases, RESTful API development, and system integrations.
- Demonstrated skills in preparing, conducting, and documenting systems tests and results to confirm system functionality and compliance.
- Practical experience in cloud environment development.
- Experience with the integration of data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in back-end software development tasks.
- Utilize analytical skills to drive process enhancements, specialized studies, and requirements identification.
- Conduct analysis, planning, and development of requirement documents and functional models.
- Create and design back-end architectures that support system functionalities and integrations.
- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs that facilitate application capabilities.
- Manage databases, including data modeling and optimization efforts.
- Assist with testing and validation to ensure system operability and compliance with standards.
- Engage in Agile program increment (PI) planning and activities that may require occasional travel.
