Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, TX for up to five days a week based on client needs.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline is essential.
- A Masters degree may substitute for two years of professional experience.
- Seven years of experience in software development using object-oriented and scripted programming languages, with familiarity in DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
- Three years of experience using bug tracking software (Jira).
- Three years of experience in testing web-based applications.
- Three years of involvement in software development initiatives or projects.
- Three years of experience in back-end web design and development.
- Three years of knowledge in AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
- Five years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
- Five years of proficiency in at least five of the following technologies: Postgress, RDS, Exodus, Python, Luna, Java, Docker, OpenJDK, Ansible, Packer, Maven, Kubernetes, and Red Hat.
- Proven experience with relational databases, RESTful API development, and system integrations.
- Demonstrated capability in executing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to ensure operational readiness and compliance with standards.
- Practical experience in cloud environment development.
- Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
Responsibilities
- Offer specialized knowledge in back-end software development tasks.
- Utilize analytical skills to enhance processes, conduct specialized research, and stipulate requirements.
- Manage analysis, planning, and creation of requirements documentation and functional models.
- Design and build back-end architectures that support system functionalities and integration.
- Develop and adjust RESTful APIs to facilitate application operations.
- Handle database management, data modeling, and optimization tasks.
- Assist in testing and validation processes to confirm system functionality and compliance.
- Engage in Agile program increment (PI) planning and participate in periodic travel as needed.
