Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in technology consulting.
- A minimum of 5 years working on federal government initiatives.
- Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity research, reverse engineering, and vulnerability assessments.
- Strong skills in malware analysis, exploit mitigation, and vulnerability research.
- Proficient in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation and tool development.
- Familiar with large data platforms, such as Hadoop, Spark, or ELK Stack.
- Knowledgeable in frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and Zero Trust.
- Experience in cloud-native security research, including Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
- Ability to translate research outcomes into operational tools and mission solutions.
- Required certifications include:
- CompTIA Security+
- CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP
- CISM, CISA
- GSLC, GXPN, GDSA
- CEH, CCISO
- GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM)
- Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE)

Responsibilities
- Conduct original investigations into emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- Reverse engineer malware and evaluate vulnerabilities to find new potential attack vectors.
- Create and evaluate prototype tools for intrusion detection, threat hunting, and prevention of exploits.
- Analyze expansive datasets to identify indicators of compromise and behavioral irregularities.
- Disseminate technical findings and present research at both classified and public conferences.
- Collaborate with Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Air Force (USAF) engineering teams to operationalize research findings into mission systems.
- Assist in the development of Zero Trust architectures and defensive cyber operations initiatives.
