Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site in San Antonio, TX, up to five days per week based on client needs.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field is essential.
- A Masters degree may replace 2 years of experience.
- A minimum of 10 years in software development utilizing object-oriented and scripting languages, with proficiency in various DevSecOps tools, microservices, and containers.
- At least 5 years in back-end web development and design.
- 10 years of experience with relational databases, RESTful API development, and integration.
- 5 years working with Python and PostgreSQL.
- 5 years of experience using bug tracking software like Jira.
- 5 years testing web applications.
- 5 years of experience in leading software development programs or projects.
- 3 years knowledge of AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with at least five of the following: Postgres, RDS, Exodus, Python, Luna, Java, Docker, OpenJDK, Ansible, Packer, Maven, Kubernetes, Red Hat.
- Proven track record in conducting, preparing, and documenting systems testing to validate compliance with project standards and requirements.
- Practical experience in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in the specified tasks outlined in the job description.
- Employ analytical skills to drive process enhancements, specialized studies, and requirement definitions.
- Engage in various tasks such as analysis, planning, requirements documentation, building functional models, procedures development, and functional architecture creation.
- Perform engineering duties focused on back-end design and development, including building architectures for existing and new system capabilities and integrations, RESTful API development and modifications, database management, and data model formulation and optimization.
