Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field required. - 7-10 years of pertinent professional experience. - Human-Centered Design Certification such as Service Design, Design Thinking, or UX. - Proven experience in leading and facilitating workshops, sometimes managing multiple sessions concurrently. - Experience delivering service or transformation changes with measurable impacts on service and customer experience. - Demonstrated ability to produce essential service design artifacts and lead stakeholder engagement. - Skilled in translating service design artifacts into actionable delivery documents like requirements and user stories. - Experience with technology modernization, automation, and AI-enhanced services. - United States Citizenship required due to customer stipulations. - Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. - Commitment to work on-site at our Princeton, New Jersey office at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development of innovative service design solutions addressing current government service challenges. - Guide user engagement and research through various methods like interviews and surveys. - Advocate for a human-centered service design approach to foster innovative solutions and competitive advantages. - Assist in transforming high-level product vision and strategy into actionable plans. - Lead sessions for co-creation, including workshops and journey mapping. - Utilize a human-centered design methodology to thoroughly understand citizen and organizational needs. - Define design challenges, facilitate idea generation, and swiftly prototype and evaluate concepts. - Employ divergent design thinking techniques to conceptualize new experiences and solutions. - Communicate insights, benefits, and design rationales to both internal and external stakeholders. - Craft compelling narratives that convey value propositions effectively.
